Description:
This well-built, real-feel pedal comes with a non-slip rubber plate -- essential when performing on hardwood or slip-prone surfaces -- and an extended cable (2.2m) for stacked multi-keyboard setups. It is compatible with half-damper capable keyboards, and it can also serve as a standard pedal switch (for sustain, etc). |

Feature: on - off
Quality: It's a fairly well made product, pretty durable materials, but not that well designed.
Sound: I got one of these with my Roland ep-90, shipped together from the factory. Unfortunately, it squeaks when you depress the pedal, and it clacks when you let go of the pedal if you are not careful about how you slide your foot off.
Ease of Use: plug it in...
Support: never has to deal with Roland
Overall: I haven't tried other pedals yet, but just comparing prices, I can't see why this pedal should cost more than other more moderately priced universal damper pedals. The non slip base does not prevent slipping at all. It's made from a hard rubber that doesn't grip the floor very well. I occasionally have to open up the pedal to adjust a little tiny part that slips out of place and causes the pedal to stop functioning - very annoying. The silver pedal part that your foot presses is a litle slim, so it doesn't have the most natural feel if you're used to playing an acoustic piano. On top of that, the pedal is noisy. I would have expected more from Roland, because I just loooooove their pianos!!
